Whether it is a blog, an e-commerce site, or a recipe site, there are many elements you need to check before going live. Often online tools are costly and new businesses don’t have the budget to test every tool. Although there is a tonne of free tools out there, it is hard to narrow down on the essential ones. Here are 4 free tools, that everyone should know and understand before launching a website.
1. Google Analytics
There are a few analytics tools to chose from, but due to the universal use of Google Analytics- we believe its the best one out there. Google Analytics is essential as you are able to constantly monitor the performance of your website and have an in-depth understanding of your users.
Browseo is a great tool that allows you to easily check how a search engine would read your website (‘Inspect’ tool made simple!).
3. SEO Site Checker
SEO Site Checker enables you to audit your site and find errors in your code (meta tags, images, links, etc…).
Ubersuggest allows you to figure out which keywords you should optimize on your website. Make sure you’re not missing the obvious keyword winners. When you start ranking high on the search engine, it then enables you to maximize traffic to your new site.
By integrating these tools before you go live, you should feel comfortable and confident in launching your website. Once you’ve launched your site, take your time to analyze what is working and what is not and keep modifying your website. Maybe even run experiments with multiple versions of your website (test various graphics, button placements, etc…).
Just remember, what works for you may not work for others.
